Key Experiences: As Managing Partner for True Science Partners, John led legal strategy and operations for a cannabis industry consolidation venture, focusing on distressed asset acquisition and regulatory navigation where he successfully secured $125 million in capital commitments, creating one of California’s largest cannabis
consolidation funds. As SVP Business Development and General Counsel for Cresco Labs, he provided comprehensive legal leadership during company’s explosive growth phase, managing all aspects of regulatory compliance, M&A, capital raises, and government relations. He holds an LL.M in tax law from Golden Gate University, a juris doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.
